Hi-Fi Roomsmith shows what your room does to music and what to change: where bass piles up, where to sit, where to put the speakers, and where acoustic panels do the most good.

Questions

Which devices can scan?

Scanning and the AR reflection points need LiDAR: iPhone Pro and Pro Max (12 Pro and later) and iPad Pro. On any other iPhone or iPad, type the room's size; every other feature works.

Why does Roomsmith say "fit confidence medium"?

The predictions assume a rectangular room. An L shape, a sloped ceiling, wide openings or walls the scan missed make them less exact, and the app says so.

Why isn't my best seat in the exact middle?

Bass in a room varies from spot to spot. The middle of the room is often close to the best seat; Roomsmith shows how close.

How accurate is the measurement?

Reverberation times from 250 Hz up are reliable with an iPhone. Bass levels and loudness need a calibrated microphone, so the app doesn't show them.

What is free?

Scanning or typing a room, the bass report, and the Seat and Measure tabs for the sample rooms. AR panel points need a scan of your own room, so they come with the purchase. The purchase adds your own room's best seat, speaker placement, measurement and AR panel points.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchase.
